Can You Loan Me Twenty Dollars Till I Get My Check Next Week

Since the economic just passed, I just got pissed off. The bill is packed with bullshit & will not help anyone in my neighborhood from losing the house that they could not afford in the first damn place.

WHAT THE FUCK - Manufacturers of kids’ wooden arrows - $6 million. (I don’t give a fuck about Arrows)
WHAT THE FUCK - Puerto Rican and Virgin Islands rum producers - $192 million. (Well I really like rum)
WHAT THE FUCK - Wool research. – unknown millions. (Wool is OK, I guess)
WHAT THE FUCK - Auto-racing tracks - $128 million. (I don’t give a fuck about NASCAR)
WHAT THE FUCK - Corporations operating in American Samoa - $33 million. (I don’t give a fuck about American Samao)
WHAT THE FUCK - Small- to medium-budget film and television productions - $10 million. (How the fuck is this benefitting Black productions)
WHAT THE FUCK - Alaskan fisherman post 1989 Exxon Valdez - $223 million. (I don’t give a fuck about Alaskan fisherman, can’t they hunt moose instead?)

WHAT THE FUCK does this pork have to do with the banking, homeowners, my everyday etc…

I’m am so not feeling the fact that we as tax payers have to come out of the pocket because greedy, ignorant & broke as people got into homes that they could not afford. I say fuck em & let the chips fall. And do our congressional representatives really give a fuck about the people?

When my family purchased out homes, we got something we could afford & got a reasonable & traditional loan. Why could others not do this & take the bait of those trying to make a fast profit.

Sometimes when you lay with dog, you get fleas. Now we all have fleas & most of us acted responsibly.

With all this said, my Congressman John Dingell will be losing his current bid for the Michigan’s 15th district congressional seat. Senator Carl Levin, you just lost my vote for your next run. Debbie Stabenow, thanks for having the courage to vote no on this bullshit boo!

To those of you who support the bill, tell me how it is going to help Addie Polk. Please tell me!

What is you thinking?

  • Mmmmm, bacon! [Only the thick-cut variety will do, of course.]

    Sigh!

I've heard a whole lot of people suggesting that, rather than throw money at Wall Street and all of these other irrelevant entities, why not turn around and give a substantial portion of it back to the American taxpayer--we'd provide the stimulation the economy needs.

I kinda like that idea better than what's currently lined up, and I think that re-distribution of wealth in this way takes some serious thought and planning, or else we could end up in even deeper doodoo... But, *I'd* most certainly rather have it than have my dollars thrown at auto-racing tracks (tho' NASCAR is kinda cool)...

Our government SUCKS. The world SUCKS. It all SUCKS!!! ::laughing at myself::

  • I am thinking I am so glad I didn't buy that overpriced house that would have tripled my housing cost -- and now I would be trapped in a job I hate to keep paying the mortgage.

Since I am planning on going back to school next fall, I am hoping that the economy figures itself out before I finish so I can someday be a homeowner, again.

I feel badly for those folks who got into bad loans, we get a lot of mixed messages about home-ownership, but here are the folks that are giving the straight talk, and can actually help, in some cases: www.naca.com.

When I am ready to buy again, I will be back on their doorstep for their guidance, help and interest rates!

  • BTW, what'd I miss--when did you go all Tafari and stuff on folks? LOL. So you're no longer doing Bygbaby? (just so I know...)

  • I don't know who I'm more upset with, the lenders who bold-faced lied to their clients or the clients who didn't read the fine print...

We're all going to hell in a handbag...

  • Tamra - The thicker the better!!!

I think a more "robust" plan that ncluded tax payer rebate would have been much much better! Such plan could have made it possible for people to pay some bills and purchase goods and services, which could have bolstered business(es).

The bottom line with this plan is, the rich will stay rich while the poor stays poor!

And I made the change the other day. No particular reason for it and. I will always be Bygbeby boo!!!!

AnnaC - I am happy hat you did not get caught up! Now with a great buyers market, you will be in a much better place to get an affiordable home.

    Yeah for school!!!

Meikmeila - I am mad first at the homeowners because they essentially tried to get something for nothing. And did their momma ever tell them that if it sounds too good to be true, it is!

In terms of the greedy lenders, karma is a bitch!

  • Wow, I can't believe some of the things you listed are included in the bailout plan! Is this really true? What kind of fuckery is this??? So government will blatantly just stick shit in like that? (Don't know why I'm even surprised.)

Our gov't is TRULY full of shit! And since Obama AND McCain endorsed this bull/bill, I include them both as being full of shit too.

  • Carla - Oh it is so true & did not even list the 25 million for our fucked up auto industry that does not have the foresight to produce energy efficient vehicles. I say fuck them too, someone else will arise from the ashes & if they happen to be a foreign competitor, then so let it be.

I am just feed up & pissed off over this! As my 403b looks like shit

  • Well, I personally prefer wooden arrows over the carbon fiber ones. I feel happy knowing that when i have little ones a few years down the road, there will be a cheap supply of good, quality wooden arrows that we can pracice with at the range.
