Dance Boo Boo, Dance...

A few weeks ago Boo Boo started kinderdance at the rec center.  She says that she likes it but on parent watch day she clamed up & did not perform with the other kids.  She was not the worst offender of the little dancer wannabees.  There were a few cry babies calling for their mama, a few doing their own dance & a few who were making it happen.

It was kinda funny watch her in the middle of everyone dancing around her.

Suite Suzy wants her to stat back up in the fall with it but I think not, unfortunately, I have no say in the matter.

  • i took dance , and in I hated it, because of the structure and that i wanted to play .... but as i got older it really helped did shape my ability of self discipline and also my confidence level.

    Its also part of the reason I design , I loved recitals and the costumes, that was so fun for me !

  • I say you let her give it another try. If anything, she will not have stage fright when she gets older. Just think how hard it is when a bunch of people are looking at your every move....

  • ByrdParker - I think dance has been a big help to Sade & she really enjoys it. Amelia became fascinated with dance because of Sade & the costumes. The tow odf them actually do cute lilt pom routines & Amelia is good in a kiddie way. I told Suite Suzy that I think that she is probably bored with the kinderdance & wants t do more advanced stuff because of her working with Sade.

    Meikmeika - I think she is already enrolled for the fall. Like I said, I have no control at all. I am just someone who has to fork over the cash. LOL!!!

  • I remember watching my sis perform when we were kids. She was always a little shy, but she nailed her dance routine. That photo makes me smile and brings back good memories.
