Avid Gardener
Over the past few summers, I stopped wear gloves because I wanted to be closer to the earth, I wanted to understand it, feel it anoint it with my green thumb. The only time not wearing gloves has a draw back is when I get splinters from mulch. Ouch, I hate splinters!

I have seen similar images to this one on some of my favorite stock sites & just love the concept.
Today, I decided to take the theme into my own hands. Well at least Sade's hands. I am finding that my kids come in handy (no pun intended) when it comes to setting up certain shots that I want to create as well as assisting me when necessary.

this image is beautiful...
it reminds me of an article that I read at the end of "Elle" magazine with one of the Olsen twins on the cover...the article was an interview with Common the rapper/actor. The interviewer asked him, What is one thing that you regret doing in a relationship? He said, One day Erykah asked me to plant flowers in her garden, looking back, I really didn't want to do that.
I guess that explains why they aint together...He really didn't want to be apart of her apple tree...All puns intended...

There is something about Nature and The Earth that is calming. Everything comes into focus and perspective when you are close to nature.

The earth seems to be the one neutral thing that we have in common & we are fucking that up.
