Erykah Badu performed last night in Detroit with the Roots & the show was KICK ASS. I got so many awesome shots & I am so feeling myself right now. I may post one more, but I think this is a pretty good tease for now.

  • Jose - Hate on hater, gone head & hate on me. LOL!!! You know they say & even she has said that she has the power to make niggas go crazy, so partially consider on of the chose few that are turned out on Badu! I am a few steps away from a crochet outfit though.

    Cluizel, We had great seats but all of my shots were from the press/photographer area. The Roots really put on a good show, you will have fun!!!

  • I have tickets to her show in ATL on 5/23. How much did the ROOTS perform ? I'm a Badu fan but this will be my first time seeing the ROOTS in concert and I'm crazy excited.

    Jovan - The Roots performed for less than an hour, maybe about 45 minutes. I like the roots but would not go see a show that they were headlining unless, I was working it or had a hook-up. I will say that they turned it out though & even had a guy with a Tuba playing with the,. I thought that was pretty cool!

    One thing that turned me off during their set was that Blackthought had on some saggy pants. Suite Suzy & I both mentioned how he was way too old for that shit. Sad fact is that he was not the only one on stage with saggy jeans, some other unknown dude was walking around holding his pants up. It was such a shame but maybe that is my much more mature self talking. Anyway, you should be excited, the show was worth my money.

    And the Baduizm was strong, some nigga through a DNA test kit on the stage & claimed one of her kids was his, go figure right!!!

    Tamra - She was rocking the fro until the last 30 minutes of the show when she came out with it off & sporting her wig cap. The crowd loved that piece & this is also where the show took a different unexpected turn that had me like, this is why I love her!!!

    WHy come you did not go to one of the 2 Chi Town shows, are you sleeping on Badu???
