Each Perfect Petal
It was a perfect autumn cold, gray & wet day here in my town; a very stark contrast to what is going on in CA these past few days.
Hearing the stories of people losing homes, businesses & even lives kinda got me a little down on the drive home while listening to NPR.
When I finally got home I saw the lavender beauty that I picked from my garden Sunday & it made me smile & feel thankful for my life. It’s funny how little things can make you feel good.
This rose is for all those who lost & were lost in the burning embers way out west.
This also goes out my embattled "Nigga" Nas; I'm looking forward to the new album. I just love albums with stupid ass names, they make me feel smarter.

In the words of the Isley Brothers, "Don't change, don't change girl. keep everything the same for me". Eggplant purple is very striking & I beat it will look awesome!
