I Can Stand The Rain
It rained today but that's OK because when you are able to capture images like these, each drop is worth it!
Sometimes I am happier when it rains!!! I mean, who does not love sleeping during a rain shower or better yet, making love in the rain (remember that song by Herb Alpert "Making Love in the Rain" (1987), that was my jam back in the day!!!).
Do you have a favorite jam that deals with the rain?
Note to self: I wonder how many people will say "Can You Stand the Rain" (1989) by New Edition???

I will be one of those people that claims the New Edition classic.
One, my husband used to sing it to me...he seriously thought he was Ralph Tresvant. That song was on every mix-tape he made me back in the day.
Two, that song stands the test of time. It sounds just as good now as it did then.
I will say though that a close second would be "Making Love in the Rain" by Janet Jackson and Herb Alpert. That's a jam right there, too!

"Can you Stop the Rain" by Peabo Bryson...I have done many a tipsy interperative dance in college to that song. lol.

Liz - The art of the mix tape is a delicate one & your boo must have been good to get you hooked in LOL. Ralph T was my boy & when "Sensitivity" came out, it was my official theme song!!!!
