On a Light Note: Nappy Headed Hoes

On the way home, the only thing on my mind was "nappy headed hoes" & how fucked up that sounds but don't be mad at me because the more I thought about it I started to laugh inside & just how ridiculous this phrase is. I am in no way downplaying the media firestorm over the stringy headed media hoe Imus situation but merely focusing on how sometimes language takes me there.

  • I have to say. I am TIRED of the comment about Imus. Why is it a white man makes us get in a uproar over ish our own people have been doing?

    And many AA are bringing up the fact we need to look at our own entertainers who show degrading videos and such. I find it ironic that NOW folks want to speak out.

    I have been thinking and saying these things. Yet, I get the look like I am the one who is crazy or a flippant remark like, "If it makes money oh well."

    WTF. Why is it a person passionate about something is either called bitter or angry and discounted? (rhetorical question) I get it and don't get it.

  • i laughed at Imus, mostly because you can tell he's horribly inbred and quite frankly, it gasses me that such an ugly fool would have the gall to make such outrageous statements. but i am not surprised. that is just how ugly racists can be.

  • Lola & Cluziel Thanks for getting my twisted since of humor & ability to make light of the most serious of situation. When I was creating the image, I was wondering if it was too much based on how sensitive most of us were, that I said fuck I'm one do it anyway.

    @ Shai, I m tired of talking about it too. Actually since I did my latest series of posts, I got zapped for real.

    I'm ready to move on the next fight that will empower to not be a doormat for those who like to down rate us & this goes for other races & includes us.

    Villager - I love the D Spot. As a detroiter, I relate to many of the stories & Keith seems like a really cool cat.

    MLWIS - You know yo name long LOL. Imus is one FUGLY Mutha. I talked about this the other day with friends. How can someone so unattractive talk so much shit. Wait, I guess if you are ugly as hell make 10 million (or used to) that you can dog just about anyone. Just don't get caught.
