The Biggest Loser

This week I have read & viewed many thinks that show how big of an asshole Michael Richards is & how his racial tirade contributed to the national racial divide. The Blogosphere has eaten this news up offering many different views on how Richards’ message could be interpreted, some condemn him outright like me, some say it was “just a simple mistake” and others say “what’s the big deal, it’s only words”.

The Bottom line is Richards is a racist ass hole but how does he compare to Kanye West?

Earlier this week, I was on the Afrobella Blog & she detailed comments that will appear in the December 2006 issue of Essence Magazine. During the interview West stated that “If it wasn't for race mixing, there’d be no video girls. Me and most of my friends like mutts a lot. Yeah, in the hood they call ‘em mutts.”

When I read the comment, I was totally fucked up! I mean we all know that West has no problem with making an ass of himself with retarded social behavior & comments but what the fuck made him say this shit.

His comments take me back to the divide & conquer mind set, the brighter is better mind set and the white is right mind set etc.

He stated that in the hood they call em mutts & maybe I am out of it but I am from the hood & I have never heard this term used against any mixed race person. My wife is pretty Ghetto (she would never admit) & no one ever called her a mutt.

As someone commented on the Afrobella piece, Kanye is not even from the ghetto & to make matters ghetto worse, his mom is a professor, so… I would love to know what his mom thinks about his latest slippage of the tongue.

Kanye is a ghetto wannabe be & based on his comment, I am revoking his ghetto pass until he gets his shit together.

My final analysis of the Richards & West verbal fuck up leave me to question, which one is the biggest asshole. I submit that West is the winner. Why?, Because I get pissed but not so shocked that I am devastated when a white person spills the beans on their true feelings.

I am devastated when a fellow Negro says or does something that cuts to the bone against there own people like West just demonstrated. West's comments exhibit inner-personal & intra racial-hatred. We are all mixed, the degree may be unknown but the fact remains.
