One year later, this video is the most hurtful thing that I saw on TV after Katrina hit N.O. I wonder what ever happened to Hardy; I pray he found his wife one way or another.
Last year I did a blog that told Hardy's story, I was in Toronto when I first saw Hardy on TV.

I found out that Mr. Jackson's first name is actually Hardy. I remember seeing this clip and his name being reported as Harvey. His story really moved a lot of people; I remember talking about him with my mother who's in another state but saw the same clip. There's some updated information about him on Wikipedia. According to the report his wife's body was never found. So sad.

Wow!!! I just read the Wikopedia entry, I am happy that someone was able to reach out to him & offer that kind of support.
It is hard for me to wrap my mind around the thought of seing my spouse slip away never to be found. I can only imagine how he feels.
After seeing Spike Lee's documentary, I firmly believe that some heads need to roll; starting at the top.
